This week, at WWDC 2024, Apple announced major software updates across their lineup. These updates include enhancements to user experience and user interface. But most importantly, Apple has finally integrated AI into their ecosystem.Of course, they won’t name it as everyone else does, they call it Apple Intelligence. And somehow, I really understand why. Let’s conclude it together.

Before this, AI was wonderfully implemented into Apple apps, from the Calculator, iMessage and Siri with significant improvements in app control to Genmoji, a feature allowing you to create custom emojis with AI so you express yourself more creatively and personally.

Now, you can work with all the generative AI features like summarizing, rewriting, and image generation built directly into the Apple lineup without needing third-party apps, and for free. With this, Apple has taken the use of AI from a premium feature to something intuitive for all kind of people. That’s why it’s called Apple Intelligence — it’s a whole new experience.

Apple Intelligence isn’t just about adding AI, it’s about seamlessly integrating it into daily tasks, making sophisticated technology feel like a natural extension of the user’s own capabilities. This integration empowers users to accomplish more with less effort, transforming the way we interact with our devices. It’s not just an upgrade, it’s a redefinition of what our technology can do for us.

Security and privacy are paramount in Apple’s new AI features. The Private Cloud Compute (PCC) system ensures only the user can access their data — not even Apple.

By integrating AI deeply into their ecosystem, Apple has created a more cohesive and efficient user experience.
